IRONHIDE (2010)

 

Quem nasceu na década de 70/80 e passava os domingos de manhã, assistindo os desenhos da TV Globo deve se lembrar de um combo de desenhos maravilhosos exibidos nesse horário:

Não sei se era bem nessa ordem, mas vamos lá: O desenho baseado no filme homônimo: Os Caça-Fantasmas, GI Joe, Thundercats e Transformers.

Por causa deles, os meninos ficavam em casa a manhã toda e na hora do almoço de domingo, a mãe não precisava ir para o portão gritar o nome do filhote para sentar na mesa e comer.

Embora Transformers às vezes fosse exibido ao meio dia ou meio dia e meio, aí o problema era outro, convencer o moleque de sair da sala e vir almoçar na mesa, com a família, como era o costume da época...

 

Não sei bem a razão, eu era fã de todos, mas Transformers era o meu preferido. Deixava de ir à praia, minhas tias apareciam pra me convidar pra sair com elas e minhas primas e dizia não. Tudo pelo desenho.

Havia perdido o desenho onde mostrava Ironhaide morto, totalmente sem a cabeça. 

O desenho saiu do ar, e um ano depois, fui ver o filme pela televisão.

Em matéria de cinema, foi o filme que mais me causou trauma. Fiquei putaça, xinguei...

Começando pela carnificina da invasão da nave. Ainda assim, acreditava que os autobots não foram mortos, que eles apareceriam numa cena, muito feridos, mas vivos, então veio a morte de Optimus Prime...

Todas as mortes do filme foram bestiais, horrendas.

A pior de todas, foi a de IRONHIDE.

O meu xodó de toda trupe.

Vê-lo sendo executado covardemente por Megatron, na sua última tentativa de detê-lo foi pesado.

Sobraram pra mim as revistinhas.

Comprei quase todos os números, via banquinha de revistas usadas que existia ao lado da estação de Belford Roxo.

Nessas mudanças da vida, minha coleção se perdeu.

Amigo, a dona da "alma" desses personagens no ocidente é a Hasbro, se o brinquedo não vende: Degola!!

Nunca mais tive contato com meus heróis preferidos. Veio o filme, e só gostei do primeiro. A visão de Bay é bem diferente dos personagens dos quadrinhos e animação.

Um dia, navegando pelos canais de nostalgia, cliquei num vídeo que falava dos Transformers.

E lendo os comentários, descobri que eu não era a única fã dos desenhos no Brasil, que há uma comunidade apaixonada, como eu, pelos robozinhos.

Foi com essa comunidade que descobri como ter acesso aos quadrinhos da IDW.

De preferência traduzidos. Até então eu literalmente suava para ler os quadrinhos online, originais no inglês!!!

Eu procurei por uma minissérie, onde Ironhide é o protagonista.

Nesse site cliquei e surpresa. Nessa minissérie, Ironhide é o protagonista, mas não é a série que procuro.

Devo esclarecer.

Esse arco foi fechado pela IDW, que reiniciou o universo Transformers com A Bold New Era, que estava lendo também, mas meu, cansa...

Não domino o idioma e um quadrinho, dependendo dos diálogos, pode levar entre 10 e 20 minutos para eu realmente entender.

Esse novo arco, de início, parece que não agradou muito os fãs. Principalmente na fase Cyrbetron pré-guerra.

E estou gostando, e para o estranhamento geral entre os fãs, pra mim tá melhor que Mais que Seus Olhos Poder Ver e Luz Perdida.

A gritaria é que há capítulos que é só “bate-papo”. Amigo, é Cybertron nos seus últimos momentos da era de ouro, há paz e Megatron está agindo nos bastidores, conspirando contra o senado e os Autobolts. E pra mim está sendo uma ótima oportunidade de conhecer a história de vida de cada personagem. Coisa que os leitores e fãs da franquia americana estão careca de saber e até alguns fãs brasileiros que nunca estiveram longe da franquia, nesse longo intervalo de quase duas décadas.

 

Lendo os quadrinhos antigos da IDW, antes do reinício do universo, me deparei com uma história com IronHide já morto.

(Aiai... suspiros)

A minissérie que li é o epitáfio de IRONHIDE.

Conta o que aconteceu depois da sua morte.

Consertado e ressuscitado por Alpha Trion, ele acorda numa Cybertron totalmente destruída e abandonada, dominada por inseticons selvagens

Alpha Trion é uma espécie de ancião do planeta e cientista, no arco original dos desenhos, ele reconstrói Orion Pax, que ressurge como Optinmus e sua namorada Elita-One.

Conta quem era Ironhide antes da guerra, e o seu papel de segurança, amigo e confidente do líder dos Autobolts.

Ele acorda perdido num planeta abandonado, destruído, onde parte da sua memória foi apagada. O tempo em que a guerra acabou indo parar no planeta Terra.

Ele acha que foi consertado, a partir de um tiro que ele levou, dirigido a Optimus Prime, num atentado ainda em Cybertron onde salvou a vida do seu líder e amigo.

Revi o Ironhide durão, dedicado, fiel as suas amizades.

Foi nesse ímpeto de proteger e servir que Alpha Trion previu que de uma maneira ou de outra, ele morreria. Recado para bom entendedor:

Não se apegue ao personagem. Ironhide, por suas qualidades, sempre jogará a proteção da sua vida no lixo, para salvar a de quem ele ama.

Não deixa de ser uma homenagem ao mais icônico dos Autobolts, que na dublagem original, tem a mesma voz de Optimus Prime (Peter Kullen) e sotaque texano.

Mas se prepare.

Leia, vale a pena, mas o final é melancólico. Você não chora porque Ironhide morreu, você fica triste, puto, soca a mesa por ele está vivo, praticamente sozinho, na missão de reconstruir seu planeta natal

Essa é a série que estou caçando. Os criticos a elogiam e a fã-base também. Vou ler, quem sabe eu escrava uma resenha.

I'm not sure why, I was a fan of everyone, but Transformers was my favorite. I stopped going to the beach, my aunts would show up to invite me out with them and my cousins and say no. All for drawing.

The drawing went off the air, and a year later, I went to see the movie on TELEVISION.

When it was film, it was the film that caused me the most trauma. I was putaça, i cursed...

Starting with the carnage of the ship's invasion. Still, he believed that the autobots were not killed, that they would appear in a scene, very wounded, but alive, then came the death of Optimus Prime...

All the deaths in the film were beastly, horrendous.

The worst of all was ironhide.

My from every troupe.

To see him being cowardly executed by Megatron, in his last attempt to stop him was heavy.

I'm left with the little comic sits.

I bought almost all the numbers, via a stool of used magazines that existed in next to belford roxo station.

In these changes in life, my collection was lost.

I never had contact with my favorite heroes again. The movie came, and I just liked the first one. Bay's vision is quite different from the characters in the comics and animation.

One day, browsing the nostalgia channels, I clicked on a video that spoke of the Transformers.

And reading the comments, I discovered that I was not the only fan of the drawings in Brazil, that there is a community in love, like me, for the robots.

It was with this community that I figured out how to get access to idw comics.

Preferably translated. Until then I literally sweated to read the comics online, original in English!!!

I searched for a miniseries, where Ironhide is the protagonist.

On this site I clicked and surprise. In this miniseries, Ironhide is the protagonist, but it's not the series I'm looking for.

I must clarify.

This arc was closed by IDW, who restarted the Transformers universe with A Bold New Era, which was also reading, but mine, it tire...

I don't master the language and a comic, depending on the dialogues, it can take between 10 and 20 minutes for me to really understand.

This new arc, at first, seems not to please the fans very much. Especially in the pre-war Cyrbetron phase.

And I'm enjoying it, and for the general estrangement among the fans, for me it's better than But That Your Eyes Power See and Lost Light.

The shouting is that there are chapters that is just "chat". Buddy, it's Cybertron in his last moments of the golden age, there's peace and Megatron is acting behind the scenes, conspiring against the Senate and the Autobolts. And for me it's been a great opportunity to get to know the life story of each character. Something that readers and fans of the American franchise are bald to know and even some Brazilian fans who have never been far from the franchise, in this long span of almost two decades.

 

Reading the old IDW comics before the universe resumed, I came across a story with IronHide already dead.

(Aiai... sighs)

The miniseries I read is ironhide's epitaph.

Tell me what happened after he died.

Fixed and resurrected by Alpha Trion, he wakes up in a totally destroyed and abandoned Cybertron, dominated by wild inseticons

Alpha Trion is a kind of elder of the planet and scientist, in the original arc of the drawings, he reconstructs Orion Pax, which resurfaces as Optinmus and his girlfriend Elita-One.

He tells who Ironhide was before the war, and his role as a security guard, friend and confidant of the Autobolts' leader.

He wakes up lost on an abandoned, destroyed planet where part of his memory has been erased. The time when the war ended up on planet Earth.

He thinks it was fixed from a shot he took, directed at Optimus Prime, in an attack still on Cybertron where he saved the life of his leader and friend.

I reviewed the tough, dedicated Ironhide, faithful to their friendships.

It was in this drive to protect and serve that Alpha Trion predicted that one way or another, he would die. Message to good understandat:

Don't get attached to the character. Ironhide, for his qualities, will always throw the protection of his life in the trash, to save the one he loves.

It is still a tribute to the most iconic of the Autobolts, who in the original dubbing, has the same voice as Optimus Prime (Peter Kullen) and Texan accent.

But get ready.

Read it, it's worth it, but the ending is melancholy. You don't cry because Ironhide is dead, you get sad, pissed, you're going to sing the table for him to be alive, practically alone, on a mission to rebuild his home planet.
